After all the commotion from the Pacquiao-Bradley fight died down we felt it was a good time to reflect on what happened. We loved reading all the comments and posts on sites shortly afterwards. It was funny seeing celebrities as well as sportscasters reactions. It was like this was the first time they ever had seen a "fix" occur in a sporting event. Throughout the history of sports their have been "Fixes", even as far back as "The Black Sox Scandal" and that was in 1919. You see anytime money is involved you can guarantee their is some corruption going on. With as much money that is tied up in gambling and pay per views having a underwhelming underdog take out the champ is brilliant. The big pay day they want is Pacquiao-Mayweather, the fight everyone wants to see.
THE MONEY AINT RIGHT YET or the fight would have taken place a longtime ago. Its not about what each fighter gets as a take home purse, its about the behind the scenes people and what they get. The promoters the PPV host company, the mob. When they can agree on their cuts and when the coffers will be at there max that fight will go down. Until then they will get your "WTF Money" from a fight like the one from Saturday night. See everyone is talking about boxing now, people are pissed about the results,everyone except the people that made money. While you sat at home saying"WTF" those PPV receipts were being added up,and them thanking the masses for their "WTF contibutions" You see they watched the fight too and noticed Bradley their "Chosen Chump" was not really selling the fight as well he could have.It looked at times like he flat out had know clue how to box. Really good at talking shit though we might add!!!! Terrible at being an actor,not as convincing to the people like Marquez when he fought Manny, not as close. They had to make a call, help this guy out, they had to call in the "FIX". To much money was riding on Bradley putting up a good showing and them making a ton of money off the fight.
The sad thing about the entire ordeal is they have us all figured out. They know each and everyone of us that ordered that fight will order the next one. They will come up with a story line for Manny,why he failed to beat Bradley convincingly this time and it will be a good one trust us. Its in life, In the movies, and In sports you just have to accept it. People love to see the great comeback by their guy,the great sequel to a blockbuster movie, they know this do you? FIX IT!!! :)
